Captain America: The Winter Soldier will heroically plunge onto iOS, Android, and Windows Phone at the end of March
It'll be spring by then
Biff! Bang! Clonk! Exposition! Twist! More biffing!
That's basically what happens in superhero movies nowadays. They also all seem to have tie-in mobile games, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier is no exception.
Almost inevitably, this Marvel-based game is being developed by Gameloft. Just as inevitably, looks like this new one will 'boast' the same dungeon-crawling action-RPG mechanics that made Thor 2: The Dark World so enjoyable. No, not enjoyable - the other thing. Mediocre.
This time around, you'll have a team at your disposal. Oh, and apparently there'll be a clan-based multiplayer system. Whether or not Robert Redford will be a playable character is unclear.
Expect punching, kicking, shield throwing, and all manner of other interesting ways to hurt identikit goons when Captain America: The Winter Soldier goes live on the App Store, Google Play Store, and Windows Phone Store in March.
