Aksys Games has announced that it'll release a localisation of Acquire's dungeon-crawling Vita RPG Mind Zero in North America and Europe.

The basic plot of Mind Zero focuses on a high school student named Kai who signs a contract with an entity called a Mind.

These Minds are actually powerful beings that Kai can summon in combat, but he has to hide them from others in the real world.

Also, the combat looks a little something like this:

Comparisons to Persona are entirely fair at this point, but there's more to Mind Zero than meets the eye.

For starters, people in the real world know what Kai's up to and - unfortunately for our protagonist - many of these people work in the government and are quite keen on hunting Kai down.

Currently, Aksys plans to release Mind Zero in the US and Europe this spring. It'll be available as a retail and PlayStation Network game in North America, but will be a PSN exclusive in Europe.
