In that case, you're going to be squealing with delight to read that R-Type II is on its way to the App Store and the Google Play Store.
This 1989 classic is being ported to mobile by DotEmu, and should be hitting smartphones and tablets in the not-too-distant future.
R-Type II for iOS and Android will feature multiple difficulty settings; touch and on-screen joystick controls; leaderboards; achievements; and support for Bluetooth controllers.
