Candy of all types is banned in forthcoming Another Case Solved game for iOS

The government has gone crazy in Ars Thanea's newly announced iOS adventure-puzzler Another Case Solved.

You see, there's been an absolute prohibition on candy. Or sweets, as we in the UK like to call them.

The police are out on the streets, then, rounding up sweet-toothed criminals. It's cotton candy chaos. So, to whom do the people turn when in need? You. Of course.

Another Case Solved is the next game from the team behind the Bronze Award-winning Puzzle Craft. You're a private detective who must solve the cases of the common people.

Matching clues, identifying suspects, and tracking down hidden items will be just some of your tasks in Another Case Solved. There'll be a story to follow, too, though you may get preoccupied earning cash for your work and decorating your office space.

The timing of Another Case Solved's announcement is, well, oddly coincidental.

You see, you may recall that last week King had reportedly trademarked the word 'candy' and had begun sending threatening letters to companies infringing that trademark.

Well, Another Case Solved doesn't obviously have the word 'candy' in its title, yet the desire on the part of the authorities in the game to outlaw candy does sound remarkably familiar.

Anyway, you'll be able to pick up Another Case Solved for iOS in February. I'd cram in all the candy snacking you can do right now.
