Play Quake III, Quake III Arena, and OpenArena on iPad and iPhone through Beben III

If you've ever fancied playing classic twitch FPS Quake III on your iPad or iPhone, well, now you can. That's thanks to Ronny Stiftel and his new app Beben III.

Beben III supports Quake III Shareware, Quake III Arena, and the community-produced FPS deathmatch spin-off OpenArena.

Before you get too excited, you do need to download and update the original game files for each game before being able to play them on your iPad or iPhone.

Once you're up and running, you'll be able to play up to 32 players online (via LAN) or play offline with bots in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. There are over 20 arenas in which to play.
