You are RoboCop. You are the law.

Wait, is that the right one? Does RoboCop ride on a steel horse? Or is he the one from the future? And why does he have fleshy human hands now? Surely that's a design oversight?

Anyway, Glu's free-to-play mobile tie-in game for the new RoboCop movie is out now on the App Store. You can expect lots of shooty shooty pew pew third-person cover-diving action.

Imagine Glu's Frontline Commando but with near-future Detroit replacing Generic Sandy Place as the setting. Oh, and imagine criminals replacing terrorists as the pop-up ducks you need to fill full of lead.

Given this is a free-to-play title, there's a big shopfront menu here from where you can upgrade RoboCop's robo-armour, robo-guns, and other robo-parts. Whether you can buy gloves remains to be seen.

RoboCop for iOS is quite a nice-looking game and the shooting is reasonably interesting, although some of the dialogue leaves a lot to be desired.

If you want to find out if this RoboCop has the robo-chops to succeed, you can grab the game from the App Store right now for nowt.
