Once you've stuffed your face full of turkey, insulted all of your relatives, and broken all of the nice things you got from Santa, you'll be able to download the Poke Bank app from the eShop.

Nintendo has confirmed that the all of the Pokemon treats we've told you about - that's the Poke Bank app itself, a year-long subscription to the service, and the PokeTransporter app - will go live on the 3DS eShop in Europe from December 27th.

Both the Poke Bank and the PokeTransporter app will be free to download. The Poke Bank app includes a 30-day free trial to the service. If you want to continue after that, a one-year subscription will set you back £4.49.

So, if locking your monstrous friends in tiny balls isn't enough and you need a larger containment facility, December 27th will be your lucky day.
