A Sharp has just taken 40 percent off the list price of its Silver Award-winning genre mash-up King of Dragon Pass to celebrate "Sacred Time".

Which, I can only guess, means "Christmas" in orcy-goblin fantasy language.

At review, we called this port of a late '90s PC cult classic "a wholly unique adventure that has no equal on the iPhone". We then added that "King of Dragon Pass makes up for in depth what it lacks in accessibility".

And according to A Sharp, there'll be some new content for the game in 2014, including a new character.

You can grab King of Dragon Pass for £3.99 / $5.99 right now. And trust us - if you can get past the slightly unwelcoming veneer, you'll find a unique experience that'll likely last you a good long while.
