Sanrio's popular Hello Kitty characters are popping up everywhere, but it's strange to picture them in a crossover with the cast of the Arcana Heart franchise of arcade fighters.
Yet that's exactly what's happening in the improbably named Hello Kitty & Apron of Magic: Rhythm Cooking - a hybrid game that mixes Cooking Mama with the basic tap-in-time style of Theatrhythm.
The two genres might not appear to have much in common, but after viewing the video below you can see how well they blend together in Hello Kitty & Apron of Magic: Rhythm Cooking.
Kitchen magicSiliconera reports the Arcana Heart characters are hidden in Apron of Magic but are easily unlocked if you stand in front of the fountain in town and enter a secret code.
After inputting the code, Heart Aino, Lieselotte Achenbach, Saki Tsuzuru and Kamui Tokinomiya will all be selectable characters who'll bob their adorable heads along with the background music as they cook.
Hello Kitty & Apron of Magic: Rhythm Cooking is out now in Japan, and the odds of it getting localised are anyone's guess. We'll keep you updated if we hear anything about a western release.
