Mojang confirms that Minecraft: PS Vita Edition won't be available until 2014

Today, Owen Hill of Mojang confirmed that Minecraft: PS Vita Edition won't be available until 2014.

This came alongside the announcement that Minecraft: PS3 Edition is going to launch in the US on December 17th. The PS4 Edition isn't expected until 2014, either.

So it turns out we were too hopeful when Minecraft: Vita Edition was announced during Gamescom, sadly.

Still, it's worth waiting that bit longer if it means we get to play the full console version of Minecraft on our Vita rather than the Pocket Edition.
