Agents of Storm is a tower offence title for iOS from the people behind Max Payne and Alan Wake

At the VGX awards over the weekend, Remedy, best known for Max Payne and Alan Wake, revealed a new reverse tower defence game for iOS called Agents of Storm.
The game is all about creating bases around impressive-looking 3D islands; building up a fleet of super-powered boats; and then launching attacks to try and conquer even more territory.
It sounds quite a lot like Anomaly, but with extra tropical seas thrown in for good measure. Oh, and a more arcade-y feel to proceedings.
Agents of Storm also looks pretty stunning, as you can just about tell from the image below.
You can swoop through the islands with pinches and swipes, while your naval attacks are launched from set points around the perimeter.
Remedy hasn't confirmed a solid release date for the game just yet, though the Finnish studio did state over the weekend that the game should be available on the App Store in early 2014.
