StreetPass Quest / Find Mii villain to appear in Super Smash Bros.?
Nintendo's being a bit cagey
It's been awhile since Nintendo's announced a new character for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. but there might be a new challenger in the wings.
It looks like StreetPass Quest / Find Mii's Dark Emperor will be featured in the cross-franchise brawler, although we're not sure in what capacity he'll appear.
Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai took to Miiverse to tease the information below.
The cage referenced by Sakurai seems to hint that there'll be a stage patterned after the StreetPass Quest / Find Mii world, as those who've made it to the end of the free mini-game should recognize the empty cage's significance.
What's not known, however, is whether the Dark Emperor will appear as a playable character (unlikely) or as a stage effect to intimidate unlucky players.
What we do know is that the Dark Emperor didn't make our list of 10 characters that we'd like to see in Super Smash Bros., although he certainly wouldn't be the strangest character to make the roster.
