Prepare to explore the absurd world of Kafka in upcoming iOS and Android adventure The Franz Kafka Videogame
Odd world
Video games don't have to be about men shooting other men. They can be about absurdity, surrealism, and the human condition. And turning into a giant insect.
Say 'hello', then, to mif2000's The Franz Kafka Videogame.
You will play as K in an adventure game based on the works of the famous Prague-born author. You're offered a job outside of your home country, and will embark on a journey through some strange events to accept it.
Influenced by Kafka's The Castle, The Metamorphosis, and Amerika, among others, mif2000 has crafted a gorgeous-looking blend of puzzle solving, exploration, and complete uncertainty.
If you weren't already aware, mif2000 is the developer of the interestingly obscure Hamlet or the Last Game without MMORPG Features, Shaders and Product Placement.
The Franz Kafka Videogame, meanwhile, will be available on iOS and Android sometime next year.
We don't know much more about the game at the moment (save for what we've seen in the video above and the screenshots in our gallery at the top of the page), but it's fair to say we're pretty excited about it.
We'll keep you updated as soon as we know anything more about The Franz Kafka Videogame. Why? Well, because it's more fun than writing about Generic Man-Blaster 8. Again.
