Swipe - The Pocket Gamer Magazine wins big at Digital Magazine Awards 2013
It's officially better than WIRED
PG regulars may remember a month or so ago we told you that Swipe, in its new 'completely redesigned iOS 7-loving and Pocket Gamer-centric form', had been nominated for two Digital Magazine Awards.
Well, we won one of them.
At the DMA gala event in London this week our little 'best of App Store' bi-monthly iPad digest beat some big competition – which included none other than the much-respected WIRED – to come top of the 'Technology and Gadget Magazine of the Year' category.
The judges, bless their hearts, rather liked our creation. "This magazine was absolutely compelling," they began. Gee, shucks.
"Great use of interactive supplements really enhanced the reading experience. Great to see a mag embracing iOS7!"
