The Sun At Night has an unbelievable plot.
You play a dog called Laika who falls down to Earth from space in silver armour, and is able to talk to humans.
As Laika, you then work with Abram Krupin, who is the leader of a resistance group fighting against the Soviets. It should be noted that in the game's alternate history, the Soviets took over the world under Stalin's rule.
Laika is kitted out with a varied arsenal of weapons, one of which is a futuristic gun that can be used to return enemy fire. I swear I'm not making this up.
The Sun At Night is a non-linear 2D action platformer that focuses on action, and it has a story concerning the struggles of the Soviet resistance.
Developer Minicore Studios says that The Sun At Night will be available on Windows PCs in February 2014. Ports for Mac, Linux, PSN and PS Vita are in the works.
