Sony preparing to launch a PS4 + PS Vita 'Ultimate' bundle in the UK in time for Christmas

According to trade site MCV, Sony is pouring £2.5m into a "Best Way To Play" UK TV ad campaign to promote the PS Vita this Christmas.

As part of this promotional effort, Sony will reportedly launch a "PS4 + PS Vita Ultimate Edition" bundle in time for the big day on December 25th.

One of the main selling points for owners of both Sony consoles is, of course, Remote Play. This enables players to stream their PS4 game to their Vita without any hassle. Sony will apparently push the Remote Play feature heavily in its upcoming promotional campaign.

Unfortunately, MCV didn't confirm a release date or price for this "Ultimate Edition" bundle. However, there were rumours back in August that Sony would release a PS Vita and PS4 combo pack for £325 / $500.

Sony will launch the PS4 itself in the UK on November 29th. So, if you're in the market for both Sony consoles, it might be worth hanging on a little longer for this bundle.
