There's probably only one new downloadable game worth purchasing this week from the Vita store, in all honesty.

Given it's probably the best Vita game released to date, though, we'll let the above point slide.

The fact that said best Vita game to date is available at cut-price from the very start makes me wanna jump for joy.

What game am I talking about? Well, why don't you read on and find out, you impatient so-and-so.

Full-price releases

That game at which I kept hinting in the intro is, of course, the glorious Tearaway. It's the latest title from LittleBigPlanet studio Media Molecule, and it's a bit special.

You help a little paper person through a strange world, using the rear touch panel of the Vita to tear your fingers into the world. We gave it a Platinum Award earlier today, which, you know, means it's pretty darn good.

And priced at just £19.99, well, it's a proper steal. Grab it on November 22nd... or be damned.

Otherwise, The Amazing Spider-Man is out (priced £34.99 / $39.99). No idea what this one is like, I'm afraid.

Sales, price drops, and PS Plus

American PS Plus subscribers can now grab Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for free. If you check out my review of the game, you'll discover that it's rather lovely and well worth downloading.

Otherwise, there isn't much else to see in this particular section. Sorry about that.

PlayStation Mobile releases

Trucks and Skulls is a physics-based monster truck smasher thing for £2.79. It already has a user rating of 1/5 stars, so we're not expecting great things from it.

Vacation Vaxation is potentially more interesting. It's a sequel to Quiet, Please!, a cool little adventure puzzler in which you try to make everyone shut up and leave you alone.

It costs £1.59, if you're thinking it's worth a pop.

And that's your lot this week!
