Look - this week's new Nintendo 3DS eShop offerings aren't great.

I'm telling you this now so that you don't go getting your hopes up. That way, you'll come away from this post less disappointed than you thought. Does that make sense?

And think about it this way: if it turns out you do like something in this week's eShop update, then you'll come away feeling more excited than ever before. Maybe.

See - I'm a genius. Let's crack on, then...

European eShop releases

PICROSS e3 is the best new downloadable game for Europeans this week. Which isn't saying much really.

I haven't played it yet, but I have played e and e2. Neither of those was worth writing home about, in truth. This new version costs £4.50, if you're still interested.

There's also Wakedas, which is a fairly entertaining puzzler. If you're going to pick up anything on the eShop this week, make it that.

Otherwise, very disappointing. The Madagascar 3 & The Croods Combo Pack is £28.49 (whoa), My Vet Practice 3D - In the Country is £24.99 (oh my goodness), and Secret Agent Files: Miami is a mere £6.99 (hold me back).

US eShop releases

There's a pretty neat Zelda sale on this week in the US. But first: the new releases...

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! is from WayForward. This means it might be good, or it might be terrible. That's just how WayForward rolls.

And then there's a lot of, well, interesting stuff, including Secret Mysteries in New York, SENRAN KAGURA Burst, World Conqueror 3D, Word Wizard 3D, Girls' Fashion Shoot, and Hot Wheels World's Best Driver.

And now the good news!

There's a Legend of Zelda sale on. For the next seven days, you can pick up The Legend of Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for 30 percent off the full asking prices.

And that's your lot.
