There's a couple of massive releases on the Nintendo 3DS eShop this week, and then a plethora of crappy ones to balance them out.

Unfortunately, at least one of the big releases is a bit of a disappointment. After the greatness that was Pokemon X & Y, we were due a disappointment somewhere along the line.

But hey, there's bound to be something for everyone on the store this week. If you throw enough mud, something's bound to stick, right?

Let's crack on.

European eShop releases

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is that one big release that I was talking about in the intro, that has unfortunately been a bit of a disappointment.

The latest in the Ace Attorney series is good, but not great. The stories are pretty dull, and some of the new characters made me want to cry.

Still, if you're a massive Phoenix Wright fan, you'll no doubt want to grab it anyway. It'll cost you a very reasonable £19.99.

Otherwise, there's a massive mess of non-games, like Crazy Chicken: Director's Cut 3D, Snow Moto Racing 3D, Gummy Bears - Mini Golf, Gummy Bears Magical Medallion, Bowling Bonanza 3D and Beyblade Evolution.

I've not finished yet! You've also got Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2, Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi, Animal Hospital, Reel Fishing Paradise 3D and Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove 3D.

There's Wario's Woods for the Virtual Console for £3.59 too. If any of these do end up being good, we'll let you know - but don't hold you breath.

There are a couple of games on sale - Urban Trial Freestyle is just £4.29 at the moment, while Myst is £8.99 (you might want to skip over the latter though.)

US eShop releases

Hey, Americans! You get the new Phoenix Wright this week too - congrats! It costs $29.99, in case you were wondering.

You also get Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for $39.99 - the handheld version of the massive console release. Is it any good? We'll let you know very soon.

Oh, Sonic Lost World is out in the US this week too. It costs $49.99, and it's pretty decent to say the least. Which is a bit of a surprise, if we're honest.

Meanwhile, there's a whole bunch of weird looking stuff for you to dig through as well. Regular Show: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-Bit Land, Monster High: 13 Wishes, Jewel Master: Cradle Of Egypt 2, and My Little Baby 3D.

And the Virtual Console has Star Soldier for $4.99 - plus, Urban Trial Freestyle is on offer for $4.99.

Back next week.
