Clash of Clans and Puzzle & Dragons are at it again with cross-promotion event
Dragons clash, are puzzled by clans
Some quick backstory: over the summer, Supercell - the studio behind the insanely successful Clash of Clans - launched a promotional event with GungHo - the developers of the equally successful Puzzle & Dragons.
GungHo then teamed up with SoftBank to snatch up a 51 per cent share of Supercell, but now the two developers are back at the cross-promotion game with a special in-game event for Puzzle & Dragons players.
Running from 21 - 27 October, the special event drops a Clash of Clans-themed dungeon deep into the match-three world of Puzzle & Dragons.
Dungeon diving
This dungeon has four difficulty levels and culminates in a puzzle throwdown with The Crimson Dragon.
It also features six unique monsters inspired by Clash of Clans like the Barbarian, Healer, Goblin, and Archer. Each of these characters has their own special attacks and unique evolved form, so they should bring some nice variety to the world of the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Puzzle & Dragons.
