It was responsible for helping to finish and publish Joshua Nuernberger's Gold Award-winning Gemini Rue. And now, Wadjet Eye Games is now looking to bring the finale of its own series of adventure games to iOS.

That's right, speaking to Examiner at New York Comic Con, Dave Gilbert of Wadjet Eye announced that Blackwell Epiphany will be coming to iPhone and iPad.

It's unfortunate for those who may be unfamiliar with the Blackwell series of point and click adventure games, as you'll be coming to the series right at its end.

That said, you shouldn't need prior knowledge of the four other games to understand and enjoy Blackwell Epiphany.

What's consistent through the games are the two main characters, Rosa Blackwell and ghost detective Joey Mallone. The pair usually track down ghosts that need help in finding their way to resolution, instead of haunting the locals around New York.

Rosa has a gift that has been passed down through her family that allows her to see and help out ghosts. Joey, on the other hand, is a ghost that has been assigned to help her. They make for an unusual, but amusing team.

Blackwell Epiphany sees Rosa and Joey trying to hunt down the most dangerous foe they've ever encountered. Whatever it is, it's able to "destroy the very core of a life in order to get what it wants".

Epiphany, being the Blackwell series's finale, will be the largest one with over 80 locations and the best voice acting of them all. Gilbert said to expect Blackwell Epiphany to arrive on iOS in early 2014.
