Do not visit the Nintendo 3DS eShop this week, good citizens of Pocket Gamer, as you will not appreciate what you see.

Tis a wasteland of non-content, ranging from digital releases of old games, and smaller new titles that are hardly going to get your motor running.

You'd be best to keep hold of that spare change and save it up for the big Pokemon release next week. Yes, there's a new Pokemon! I know, exciting!

European eShop releases

Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure, a lovely rhythm-based game released last year, is now available as a digital release from the eShop.

It's pleasing and charming and all the good things - well, everything except that ridiculous £39.99 price tag. Find it at retail instead if you're game.

Otherwise, there's Game Festival 1 (an amusement park title, for £19.99), and a Witch & Hero demo. Oh, and a sale on the very "meh" Heavy Fire: Special Operations 3D - that now costs £4.49.

US eShop releases

The US store has Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure too, along with Family Bowling 3D for $4.99, Halloween: Trick or Treat 2 for $7.99, and Happy Circus.

There's also Picross 3 for $5.99, which is potentially interesting, but probably not - the last one was rather dull.

And that's your lot - sorry peeps! Back again next week.
