It looks like the first picture of Logitech's MFi (Made For iOS) controller has been leaked online.

And this plastic wrap-around button lump isn't what you'd describe as 'svelte'.

The pictures appeared on the evleaks Twitter feed, a place where plenty of other upcoming gadgets and gizmos have popped up before their official unveiling.

In these leaked images, you can see a long black shell with an iPhone sat in the middle. On the left, there's a D-pad. On the right, there are four buttons marked 'A', 'B', 'X', 'Y'. Poking out over the back are a couple of shoulder buttons.

Tell you what - just have a look for yourself. The images are embedded below.

The first word that springs to mind is 'long'.

The second is 'ungainly'.

The design of this controller hardly fits in with the sleek aesthetic that Apple tries to emphasise about its phones and tablets.

Of course, this might not be the final product, but it certainly tallies with the other information we've seen about the Logitech peripheral.

As ever, we'll let you know when we've got any more concrete information about when the device is out, how much it's going to cost, and whether it's really going to be that long.
