Cowabunga! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run is now available for Android

Many fans of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon were wary of Nickelodeon's recent reboot, but we found the tie-in game TMNT: Rooftop Run to be pretty fun.

Now, that Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning endless runner is available for those of the Android persuasion almost half a year after it made its way to the App Store.

Sporting the same $3.99/£2.49 price tag with in-app purchases on offer, TMNT: Rooftop Run isn't the cheapest endless runner we've seen here at Pocket Gamer - but it is, perhaps, the turtle-iest.

In our review of TMNT: Rooftop Run for iOS, we noted that "Despite its shortcomings, TMNT: Rooftop Run still manages to provide plenty of finger-friendly entertainment" - and we found the combat and health systems to be a pleasant departure from the raft of free-to-play endless runners available.

The IAPs on top of a premium price tag might be a bit of a turn-off, but if you're a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - or just like the idea of jumping along rooftops and smacking evil ninjas around - be sure to check this one out on Google Play.
