Updated on September 26th, at 10:06: Shadowrun Returns is now out on the Google Play Store, too, meaning Android gamers can hack terminals and cast spells all day long.

The game costs £6.52 / $9.99 [buy] on the Google Play Store. You can grab it right now.

Original story follows...

Harebrained Schemes raised a lot of Kickstarter money to make fantasy-cyberpunk RPG Shadowrun Returns.

And from midnight tonight, you'll be able to find out if all that crowdfunded money has been put to good use.

With Shadowrun Returns, the Harebrained Schemes team mashes classic fantasy with gritty computer-y cyberpunk to create a unique world full of orcs and people jacking into the matrix.

It's pretty cool, in a '90s sort of a way.

The game is a tactical RPG with turn-based combat. In its 12-hour single-player campaign, you battle through a variety of dingy streets and neon-stained bars.

There are six character archetypes from which to choose. Oh, and more than 350 different weapons and abilities with which to smash your enemies to bits.

Shadowrun Returns is an iPad-only game, and requires at least an iPad 2 to work properly. It'll also take up 1.6GB of space, so you're probably going to have to delete some of the junk on your iPad to make room for it.

The game will set you back £6.99 / $9.99 when it surfaces on the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight.
