It's almost time.

Super Hexagon-inspired "rotational runner" Boson X is ALMOST ready to leap onto the App Store.

Mark September 26th down in your diaries right now. Yep, that's when the game will be go live on the App Store.

X Gon' Give It to Ya

In Boson X, you control a science professor running around a particle accelerator to discover new particles.

The controls are simple, for you just need to rotate the position of the professor inside the machine. He jumps when you rotate his position, mind, so you need to bear that in mind for clearing gaps.

You'll aim for the green parts of the spherical machine, since these increase the speed and force the particles closer to collision.

As you can imagine, it's fast-paced, reflex-testing action. And with the inclusion of leaderboards here, you will be desperate to get the highest score possible.

Considering the main setting of the game, you can expect plenty of psychedelic visuals in Boson X. It's fair to say that the game wouldn't look out of place among the strange sci-fi B movies of the '60s, actually.

We'll have a full review of Boson X up on the site on or around September 26th, so you can find out then whether it's worth the £1.49 / $1.99 asking price.
