When covering mysterious isometric puzzle / exploration game Pavilion at the start of the year, we were told to expect the game on iOS and Android platforms by the end of 2013.

That is no longer the case.

Sony has since snapped the game up, and Visiontrick Media now has its heart set on releasing Pavilion on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Contented

In response to our asking Visiontrick Media about the iOS and Android versions of the game, creative director Henrik Flink said: "All I can say is that we're currently working on the PS4 / PS Vita version."

Doesn't sound like particularly promising news for iOS and 'droid gamers. Damn.

We also asked Flink whether all versions of Pavilion would contain the same amount of content, and he confirmed that would be the case.

With Pavilion on PS Vita, Visiontrick Media will make use of the device's analogue sticks, the touchscreen, and the rear touch panel.

Visiontrick Media doesn't have any current plans to use the sixaxis motion sensor, camera, or microphone in Sony's powerhouse portable, mind.

Flink did add, though, that "if [we] find some suitable usage for it and without it feeling like a gimmick [we] wouldn't have anything against using it."

Visiontrick Media won't commit to a launch window for Pavilion, but the game will be demonstrated at the Tokyo Game Show next weekend.
