Juicy Beast is working on an Android edition of iOS and Ouya gem Knightmare Tower. That makes us happy. And it should make you happy, too.

In this game, you are cast as a pint-size knight who hitches a ride on a rickety wooden barrel rocket to ascend a giant tower and save some damsels.

Then, like a far more violent version of Doodle Jump, you'll bounce off of enemies' heads to climb the castle.

Simply bashing in beasties and tackling different types of foes is fun, but you'll also get to work through a steady stream of upgrades and power-ups to increase your chances of success.

In our Silver Award review, we said "Knightmare Tower is brash, glitchy, and it doesn't last very long, but it packs a lot of high-intensity fun into the two or three hours it'll take you to finish it."

There is no concrete release date for this Android port yet, but the Burrito Bison dev says that "we'll obviously let everyone know about it once we [have one]."
