Less than a month ago, the maker of Codename Cygnus successfully reached its Kickstarter funding goal.

Wasting no time, then, Reactive Studios has already published this interactive radio drama on the App Store. And in more swell news, the Prologue is free.

Codename Cygnus caught our eye on account of the voice talent attached to the project, including Logan Cunningham (the Narrator in Bastion), Sarah Elmaleh (voice actress in Gone Home and Skulls of the Shogun), and Rob Wiethoff (John Marston in Red Dead Redemption).

In this interactive episodic drama, you play a secret agent working for a mysterious agency called Cygnus. Your first job is to rescue diplomats being held hostage by your nemesis, Neptune, who's part of environmental activist group T.R.I.D.E.N.T.

You interact with the game world using voice commands or taps. You'll make decisions during dialogue and action-based sequences, and listen to the results as they're narrated to you.

Should you become absorbed in the fiction of Codename Cygnus's Prologue, you can purchase more missions to quench your thirst for more.

Mission 1 contains five episodes, but only one, two, and three are available at the moment. The side-quest missions four and five are scheduled for release later this month.

You can purchase a whole mission for $7.99 / £5.49, which works out cheaper than buying single missions at £1.49 each.
