What's better than a hefty multiplayer update to a great game like Badland?

How about downloading Badland for 50 per cent off?

Developer Frogmind thinks that's pretty great, as it's slashed the price of the atmospheric iOS puzzler down from $3.99 / £2.49 to $1.99 / £1.49.

The reason for the sale is simple - Frogmind's in a celebratory mood since Badland is being honoured at PAX Prime this weekend as one of the top 10 indie games of the year, alongside Gold Award-winner Ridiculous Fishing.

What was that about Android?

The PAX Prime note is important, since Android Police reports that Frogmind will be showing off an Android build of Badland at the convention.

There's no official release date for the Android build past 'coming soon', but we think 'soon' means 'really soon' based on the video below which shows Badland putting a Nexus 7 through its paces.

We'll keep you updated on news of an Android release as soon as we have it. Meanwhile, those looking to pick up the iOS version at a deep discount should act quickly since Frogmind notes the 50 per cent off sale is only valid 'for a limited time'.
