Addictive match-'em-up Dots arrives on Android and gets a new mode

The Silver Award-winning Dots may not be flashy or feature-packed, but it's a perfectly pitched casual matching game that has reportedly been downloaded 5 million times, and played a billion times, since it came out in April.

The aim is to connect dots of the same colour in a 6x6 grid and see how many matches you can manage in 60 seconds.

Today Dots has gone live on Google Play and the Kindle Fire Appstore, and developer Playdots has added a new gameplay mode to all versions.

The goal in Moves mode is to match as many dots as you can in 30 moves. A simple tweak but one that will likely add more minutes and hours to your play time.

Dots on Android and Kindle Play is available for free with additional IAPs if you want them.
