I don't know, either

Check out the impressive debut trailer of Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW!

The first footage of Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! has been shown off in a sort-of dev diary video.

Don't worry if dev diaries aren't your sort of thing, because this one is mainly full of jokes. The gags come courtesy of Adventure Time voice actor John DiMaggio, incidentally.

The game itself looks like a pretty standard dungeon-crawler, though it does, of course, star the cast of the smash hit cartoon series.

Think Diablo, then, but with hand-drawn art and a lot more weird jokes.

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! is being developed by WayFoward, whose most recent game Mighty Switch Force 2 got a shiny Silver Award from us.

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! is set in a secret dungeon under the land of Ooo. Finn and Jake are trying to save the Candy Kingdom, you see.

Even if that sentence seems like nonsense to you, the game is probably still worth a look.

There's four-player co-operative gameplay here, so you and three friends can dive into the dungeon together, fighting beasts, grabbing loot, and doing all sorts of other stuff that cartoon characters do in dungeons.

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! will be available on 3DS towards the end of the year.

For some reason, though, it doesn't look like there'll be a PS Vita version of the game, making Sony's powerhouse portable the only current-gen console that's 'missing out'.
