A brilliant action-RPG that tugs at the heartstrings, features some of the best in-game music we've ever heard, and boasts amazing vistas and hand-painted backdrops.

We gave it a Gold Award and described it as "one of the best action-adventure games on the iPad".

Ticket to Ride: £1.49 / $1.99 [buy]

Boardgames are all the rage on the iPad right now, and Ticket to Ride is one of the best. It's smart, fun, and you don't have to pack all the bits away when you've finished playing.

We gave it a Gold Award at review and called it "a fantastic adaptation of an excellent boardgame, and a must-buy for strategy fans."

Lego Batman: DC Super Heroes: 69p / 99c [buy]

A mash-up of Lego gameplay and some of the most iconic superheroes from the DC stable, this is a brilliant and addictive action game for all the family.

At review, we gave it a Silver Award. We said that it "proves that the tried-and-tested Lego formula can work on almost any device".
