Fast & Furious 6 gets timed tournaments mode for winning extra cash

Due to my global wanderings, I'm currently writing the slowest review ever about Fast & Furious 6: The Game.

Still, it will be comprehensive when it's finally done...

And the meantime, the game's just been updated.

The big new feature are timed tournaments.

These are based on the amount of XP you generate within the four-day tournament period, with soft and hard currency being your reward.

The top player in the first tournament will get 500 gold, worth around £30/$45.

Perhaps, more significantly, the top 100,000 placed players will get something (5 gold).

Other additions include level five car upgrades are now unlocked, plus the usual array of bug fixes, optimisations and tweaks.

Fast & Furious 6: The Game is free-to-play for iOS and Android.
