While you fellow Brits may not realise it yet, summertime is technically here.

But don't worry if this typically untypical British whether is getting you down, for Tarsier Studios and Sony are on hand to lift your summer spirits via some free DLC for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita.

In the beach-themed Summer Creator Kit content pack, you see, there is a selection of cheerful sun-soaked scenery.

Furthermore, Sony and Tarsier Studios are throwing in a Summer Solstice Druid Costume for nowt. Yep, you'll be able to dress your little Sackboy up in classy pagan robes and give him some dashing facial hair.

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita wasn't exactly short of content back when we reviewed it last September.

At that time, we said, "There's plenty of content included, the community is already creating its own levels, and the added bonus of transferring items you purchased in previous games is the stitched icing on the cloth cake."
