Butterscotch Shenanigans's action-packed endless roguelike Quadropus Rampage has finally surfaced on the App Store, just over a week after it became available on Google Play.

According to a blog post on Butterscotch Shenanigan's official website, though, the time spent in Apple purgatory has actually done this aquatic-themed hack 'n' slash RPG the world of good.

In fact, the delay has been in the main self-imposed, as Butterscotch Shenanigans spotted some stability issues and bugs with the 'final' build and decided to hold fire to get them all fixed.

Bugs aren't too much of a problem in Android games, you see, for a patch can be applied within half an hour on Google Play. It can take an iOS dev more than a week to get an update approved by Apple, however.

In effect, then, Android players have been sort of beta testing Quadropus Rampage. If a 'droid player finds a bug, he can report it to the team via the customer reviews section and Butterscotch Shenanigans can get to work squashing it.

The dev suggests that if an iOS Quadropus Rampage player ever meets his Android counterpart in the street, he should give him a high five. Or something.

You can download Quadropus Rampage on the App Store for nothing at all [download]. And if you're an Android gamer who hasn't had a chance to pick the game up yet, head over to the Google Play Store and grab it right now for nowt [download].
