E3 2013: Sony releases a new Killzone: Mercenary trailer featuring some more of the cut-throat FPS's gameplay

Sony has just published a new Killzone: Mercenary trailer and posted some details about the exclusive content you can bag if you pre-order the cash-hungry FPS from the right place.

In this new trailer, The Big S shows off a lot more in-game Killzone: Mercenary footage than in previous trails.

So, yeah, there's what looks like a stealth suit, a section on a boat, and a closer look at some of the levels you'll shooting your way through.

As for the pre-order bonuses, anyone who reserves the game will get Blackjack's Briefcase. This contains a couple of in-game items.

The first is a Double XP boost that gives you two days of double payouts for completing missions and contracts.

The second is a cash bonus that fills up your coffers before you've even set foot on the battlefield. That'll mean you have enough Vektan currency to buy a weapon and get a headstart on all those plebs who didn't have the nous to reserve a copy of the game.

No stopping me now

If you go one step further and order Killzone: Mercenary specifically from GameStop, you'll gain a free weapon. Called the M224-A1 Light Machine Gun, it's a powerful blaster with plenty of ammo and not very much accuracy.

As far as we can tell, these pre-order bonuses are US only, but we'll let you know if and when they're confirmed for the UK market.

Killzone: Mercenary will be released on September 4th in Europe and on September 10th in North America.
