More Pokemon X and Y news on the way next week, we'll cross continents to bring it to you

For some reason, a lot of Pokemon fans are looking forward to the global release of Pokemon X and Y this October.

Maybe it's because it'll be the first 3D Pokemon title, or maybe it's because players will be able to customize their characters.

Whatever the reason, there's a wave of Pokemon X and Y news leaking around the world in the coming days - and we'll be catching some of it live for you.

Three-pronged assault

It all starts with a closed-door developer discussion at E3 hosted by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company on Tuesday, June 11 that we'll be attending.

Details on X and Y will likely be plentiful as the president and CEO of The Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara will be in attendance along with game freak director Junichi Masuda.

Masuda isn't a man who likes his sleep, however, and he'll be jetting back to Japan after the E3 discussion to appear on the next episode of the Pokemon Smash TV programme on June 16, which will be another X and Y special.

Similar to the last time we were expecting a wave of Pokemon news, the June 15 issue of CoroCoro magazine is reported to have even more information on the game.

Last time, we found out about a few new Pokemon - including one that you can ride. Want to know what this wave of news will bring? Be sure to check back here for the details.
