Classic 90s adventure game Towdie could come to iPad and Android if its Kickstarter is successful

Are you one of those people who's eager to relive the glory days of early-90s adventure games?

If so, you may want to swallow your drink to avoid an ill-timed spit take - there's a chance that Ultrasoft's cult classic Towdie will make its way to Google Play and the App Store.

We say "a chance" because, like many of these projects, Towdie is currently trying to secure its funding on Kickstarter.

In Towdie, players take control of a lovable fantasy everyman (or, uh, everyorc) named Towdie.

With an evil dragon lurking outside his castle, Towdie is given the quest of rescuing the lost sorceress Vanda because everyone else who's better suited to the task has been reduced to cinders by said dragon.

With a bold heart and unshakable sense of loyalty, Towdie sets out to save the sorceress and - hopefully - the kingdom.
