Crush is Radiangames's upcoming intense arcade-style puzzle game for iOS
Plus, Bombcats is heading to Android
Luke Schneider, a.k.a. Radiangames, has posted on his blog that he began work on a new iOS game called Crush while waiting for Bombcats to pass Apple's rigorous approval process.
As a matter of fact, Schneider actually finished Crush yesterday.
As another matter of fact, Crush is an intense minimalist arcade-style puzzle game that's similar in nature to Super Hexagon and Slydris.
Specific gameplay details for Crush are somewhat scarce, but we do know that each game session will last a couple of minutes. According to Schneider, the game features "a fairly strong randomness factor", but skill and strategy do still matter.
Crushing victoryIf everything goes according to plan and Crush makes it past Apple's App Store guardians at the first time of trying, it will be released on June 13th with a 69p / 99c price tag.
For a limited time only, all of Radiangames's other iOS titles (like the abovementioned Slydris) will be available to download for 69p / 99c apiece, too.
Dropping the bomb
In other news, Schneider announced that he'll be working on an Android port of Bombcats from today. This trajectory-based puzzler nabbed a Bronze Award when it landed on iOS late last month.
Schneider doesn't expect this port to take very long, but it is his first Android title. So, just in case anything goes wrong, he doesn't want to announce a release date for it just yet.
Schneider will eventually port some more of his iOS games (like the Silver Award-winning Inferno+) to Android, too, providing he finds the process relatively simple.
