This week's votes have been counted (and recounted), and we have a winner: Combo Crew.

Combo Crew is a Streets of Rage-inspired "blast-from-the-past" arcade-style beat-em'-up from Squids and Squids Wild West developer The Game Bakers.

In Combo Crew, you assume the role of a chiselled brawler who's trapped in a large tower-like structure.

Your aim, then, is to fight your way through waves of enemies, slowly climb up each level of the tower, and take battle-hardened leader Mr. Boss to the cleaners.

You can do this on your lonesome or with the help of your friends, who - using the game's asynchronous multiplayer features - can rescue you when you go through a sticky patch.

At review, we called Combo Crew "a frantic beat-'em-up that fuses a retro sensibility with modern touchscreen controls", and noted that it's an "often brilliant, always entertaining way to punch some goons in the face".
