Kevin Ng (a.k.a. Pixels on Toast) has just updated his minimalist Silver Award-winning arcade game Impossible Road with a few welcome tweaks.

First up, the game now supports iCade peripherals. Also, you can restart your session by tapping twice on your score, and the Game Over screen now shows your top score.

Finally, if you're playing offline, your high score will now be saved locally and uploaded to Game Center when you're next online.

Impossible Road, if you somehow missed it, is a deceptively simple game about rolling a ball down a sinewy blue ribbon that snakes and bends through space.

The real fun begins, however, when you realise that you can land back on the track if you fall off.

At review, we said, "Impossible Road is habit-forming gaming at its finest. Visually arresting, refreshingly unique, and perfect for leaderboard battles."

Impossible Road is priced £1.49 / $1.99, and is available right now as a Universal iOS app.
