If you're a fan of the endless-runner genre, then there's a good chance you've played Miniclip's orientation-swapping take on the never-ending sprint Gravity Guy.

In which case, you'll probably be quite happy to read that the sequel to Gravity Guy has just gone live on the New Zealand App Store. This means it'll be racing onto UK and US shores at midnight tonight.

With the imaginatively titled Gravity Guy 2, Miniclip has mixed things up good and proper. Rather than playing with which way's up, you're now given control over the platforms on which you're running.

You move them up to jump in the air, but also to catch you as you fall. A 'boost' button on the left of the screen enables you to get a little more air if you need it.

There are coins to collect, powers to unlock, challenges to complete, and a wide range of obstacles to weave your way through in Gravity Guy 2.

You can unlock seven different characters - each with its own special skills - as you play, and you can use the in-game currency you accumulate organically on single-run boosts.

Gravity Guy 2 will be available as a Universal app for 69p / 99c when it dashes onto the UK and US App Stores later tonight.
