Pixowl slashes price of The Sandbox DLC in special 1-year anniversary sale
New iOS and Android updates in the pipeline, too
California-based developer Pixowl is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the release of The Sandbox with a contest and a rather large in-app purchase sale.
Yup, you can now grab the Dinosaurs Campaign, the Music Campaign, and the rest of The Sandbox's downloadable DLC (see below for full list) for as little as 69p / 99c a pop.
The Sandbox's numerous consumable Mana packs are going cheap (or cheaper, at least) for a limited time, too.
If you want to enter the Pixowl contest and be in with a chance of winning "lots of cool prizes", meanwhile, you need to create your very own "party-themed" world and ensure that each level in it refers to The Sandbox's first birthday.
Then, you need to post your creation on the official Facebook or Twitter feed of The Sandbox. Job done.
Pixowl has also announced some forthcoming updates to the iOS and Android versions of The Sandbox.
At the beginning of June, the iOS version of the game will be updated with a brand-new 15-level Zombie Campaign (in which you're tasked with protecting or infecting civvies) and a new job powder (zombie).
At the end of May, however, Android gamers will receive a new Humans Castaway Campaign and a free User-Created Campaign, as well as new daily quests, new elements, and four job powders.
You can grab The Sandbox from the App Store [download] or Google Play [download] right now for free.
