A few weeks back, we happened across a trailer for the atmospheric puzzler Quell Memento that caught our eye.

Call us sentimental, but there's something intriguing about a puzzle game where you help an elderly man remember the events of his life with each puzzle you solve.

If this sounds like the sort of game that will reel you in as well, we have some good news for you - the iOS version of Quell Memento will be released internationally as a universal app on May 23 for $2.99 / £1.99.

The Vita and Android releases remain to be priced and dated, but are expected later this month according to Polygon.

Lost in the Memento

At the core of Quell Memento's zen-like atmosphere are over 150 puzzles that follow real-world rules and logic.

If you're trying to guide a droplet of water around a maze, for example, you'll want to avoid thorns as they'll burst your defenceless droplet. In short, objects in the game's world should behave as they do in the real world.

Take a look at the trailer below to see the puzzles in action, then be sure to check back in for news on the Android and Vita releases of Quell Memento.
