No objections - new Phoenix Wright game is coming to the west this autumn

We've been pretty excited about the upcoming Ace Attorney 5 since Capcom announced it back in January of 2012, and we were even more excited when we learned it would have a fully-voiced audio track.

Now, we're positively 'contempt of court' excited to learn that the latest Phoenix Wright game will make its way to Europe and North America for the 3DS this autumn.

But there's a catch. Capcom confirmed that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies will be an eShop exclusive, which means there are no plans for a physical (retail) release.

Dual Destinies picks up eight years after Wright's last appearance in the courts.

Events of the game kick off when a court room is blown up, and it's up to Wright and his team at the Wright Anything Agency to discover the cause of the destruction.

Dual Destinies will offer a few new features to the Ace Attorney franchise, not the least of which being 3D graphics (imagine the finger pointing!) and a 'Mood Matrix' system that allows a young member of Wright's team to detect the mood of a witness as they give testimony.

Capcom didn't announce a formal release date or price for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, but we'll keep you updated as soon as we know more.
