New details on Pokemon X and Y expected next week. You better believe we'll catch 'em all

Although the October release of Pokemon X and Y for the 3DS is still months away, a trickle of news has already given fans an idea of what to expect from the games.

That news trickle may turn into a torrent next week, however, as Nintendo-Insider reports that the weekly Pokemon Smash broadcast will feature Game Freak director Junichi Masuda who's scheduled to reveal more information about the games.

In fact, the May 19 episode is already being hyped as an X and Y special so there's a good chance plenty of details will be revealed.

But why wait?

Details on X and Y may come earlier than that, however, as Nintendo Life reports that the weekly issue of CoroCoro Comics - which has a long history of leaking Pokemon news - may be in on the Pokemon Smash reveal.

If this is true, details may start leaking as early as midweek. Perhaps one of our 10 suggested new Pokemon will make their way into the official roster?

We're not really holding our breath for that one, but we'll be sure to keep you updated with news on Pokemon X and Y as it becomes available.
