Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles Force Pushes itself onto the App Store in time for Star Wars Day

Who's the best Jedi Master?

If you said anything other than 'Yoda', you're wrong. (Although we are willing to make an exception for Kit Fisto.)

The reason we ask is because Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles has - as expected - just materialised on the App Store. Yep, seriously.

In it, you take everyone's favourite cross between a green mystical space knight and a Muppet on an adventure of his very own.

If you're a follower of the dark side of the Force, however, you can step into the no doubt pointy shoes of Count Dooku instead and go around firing lightning at people who annoy you.

To no one's surprise at all, Yoda's outing on iOS conforms to the traditional Lego game template of building, scrapping, and solving puzzles.

In total, you'll navigate your way through 16 different levels (eight per side of the Force), all set in classic locations in the Star Wars universe.

An Android version of Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles should surface later in the year, by the way, while a web version is in the works, too.

If you've ever fancied leading a unit of Clone troopers into battle or just want a go at being a 900-year-old Force-wielding imp, you can grab Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles [download] for free from the App Store right now.
