Chase down the villain that's imprisoned your head in Mr. Runner 2: The Masks for iOS

Back in September 2010, Chicago-based indie developer Zing Games released a humour-filled iPhone platformer called Mr. Runner.

Today, its sequel - the aptly named Mr. Runner 2: The Masks - sprinted onto the New Zealand App Store, which means it'll be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.

In this iPhone sequel, you're tasked with hunting down Le Magie, a mischievous villain who's imprisoned your hulking head in a rather mysterious - and rather pesky - mask.

In order to catch up with this devious character and free your aching skull, you need to successfully traverse 32 varied stages, which are spread across four worlds.

These worlds all have their own unique themes, bosses, and masks, as well as unique challenges that will test you in a variety of ways.

Sound good to you? If so, you'll be able to grab Mr. Runner: The Masks from the UK and US App Stores at around midnight. It'll set you back 69p / 99c.
