Don't get too distracted by Wil Wheaton's dulcet tones in new interactive iOS and Android novel Trial of the Clone

Melbourne-based developer Tin Man Games, the studio responsible for the über-popular Gamebook Adventures series, has released a brand-new interactive adventure novel for iOS and Android called Trial of the Clone.

In Trial of the Clone (penned by award-winning Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal writer Zach Weinersmith) you assume the role of, well, a clone, who's been raised from childhood by a mysterious group known as the Silene Monks.

You're not like the rest of your clone brothers, though. You have a mission to complete, you see.

Make "the right decisions" and you'll prove yourself a hero. Make bad decisions, and you'll end up brown bread.

Trial of the Clone is narrated by Wil Wheaton, who is probably best known for playing Wesley Crusher in the first four seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Tin Man's new gamebook is packed with unlockable achievements; all-new death endings that you won't find in the print version of the book; and lots of other exclusive features (such as an automated adventure sheet and a bookmarking system).

You can grab Trial of the Clone right now from the App Store for £2.49 / $3.99 [buy], and from Google Play for £2.99 [buy].
